Requirements/Qualifications
- MSCE with California S.E. or P.E. focused on becoming a S.E.
- -Approximately 8 years or more of applicable structural engineering
- -Project management

- -Experienced with steel, concrete, masonry and wood
- -Commercial, retail, institutional, and residential (high-end architects) type structures
- -Interface with client and other disciplines
- - Mentor junior staff

Position: Mid and Senior Level Structural Engineers
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Federal niche market involving some our of our nation’s most notable structures.
Founded more than a half century ago this distinguished award winning A/E firm evolved over the decades into an extremely successful full service building engineering provider focused on the federal government sector. Their notable project portfolio encompasses five continents. As a result of growth and expansion they are currently in need of mid and senior level structural engineers for their East Coast offices. A Senior Structural Engineer will also be needed for their soon to open West Coast branch office.
Requirements:
- BSCE (structural emphasis) or A/E baccalaureate
- MSCE preferred
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Licensed Structural Engineer (S.E.) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 8 years of applicable experience for senior level engineering positions
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience for mid level engineer positions
- Technical experience with concrete, steel, and masonry
As the successful applicant will be immersed in a matrix type organization, the capacity for effective teamwork, excellent communication and interface with architects and engineers from various disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Fire is quite important.
